The German government has given away 1.2 million dollars to help Flying Sheep Studios create a video game called Star Life. The studio is based in Cologne and they will use the money to develop this game, which might also feature something called NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens).

Flying Sheep Studios, a gaming company from Cologne, Germany just raised $1.2 million from their government. They plan to use the money to build Star Life, an awesome virtual-reality video game. It will let players create and explore its world together by taking on different roles in the game.

The German government gave a special kind of money to Flying Sheep Studios. This is to support the creation of amazing games! With this, they hired more people so that the game can be finished faster.

Thomas Rössig, who is the boss at Flying Sheep Studios said that it’s important that their country have lots of great video games and experiences.

“We’re very thankful for the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action because they’ve supported our project. This money that we got is from the government’s budget meant for creating video games, so it helps us develop the latest technology made in Germany.”

South Korea Investing Billions into the ‘Metaverse’

Star Life is an awesome online game that everyone can play for free! It encourages you to make friends with different people from all around the world, in a special virtual world.

The new game includes blockchain features like cool special items (NFTs) that you can transfer to other games or virtual worlds. This lets players have more control over the optional parts of the game and even make some money, although the game hasn’t announced what type of digital currency it will use yet.

Experts predict that the metaverse will experience less activity in 2023, but some countries like South Korea have chosen to invest money into it. South Korea has dedicated 51 million dollars to local metaverse projects. Although there are other companies, like Meta, who have decided to put more of their funds into the artificial intelligence sector instead of the metaverse.
