Caroline Ellison is a cryptocurrency expert and entrepreneur who has been involved in the industry for over 10 years. She founded her own company, BitPayCard, which provides prepaid debit cards that can be used to spend digital currencies like Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) or Dash. She was also an early investor in Coinbase, one of the largest exchanges for cryptocurrencies.
Originally from Washington DC, Caroline started out as a software engineer before getting into blockchain technology and becoming an active member of the crypto community. In 2017 she co-founded Crypto Moms – a support network aimed at helping mothers get into investing and trading cryptocurrencies – alongside her husband Ryan Chisholm.
Since then she has become well known in the world of finance and tech with appearances on Fox Business News Network’s Varney & Co., Bloomberg TV’s Countdown Asia Pacific, CNBC’s Squawk Box Europe along with numerous podcasts such as The Bad Crypto Podcast hosted by Joel Comm & Travis Wright; Anthony Pompliano’s Off The Chain podcast; Unchained hosted by Laura Shin among others where she discussed topics around blockchain technology investments opportunities & trends within digital assets including security tokens offerings [STO].
In May 2020 Caroline announced plans to launch ‘The Blockchain Brief’, a daily newsletter about developments related to distributed ledger technologies as well as news concerning government regulations surrounding them .
