The amount demanded usually ranges from $50,000-$300,000 depending on the size of the organization affected by the attack.
It is important to note that paying this ransom does not guarantee successful decryption of files; instead victims should focus on preventing Ryuk infection by following best practices with regard to cybersecurity hygiene.
