Banking Giant JPMorgan
JPMorgan Chase & Co. is an American multinational investment bank and financial services company headquartered in New York City. JPMorgan’s involvement with cryptocurrency began around 2017 when they announced their plans to launch JPM Coin – a digital token that uses blockchain technology for payments between clients within its network1 . Since then, JPMorgan has established itself as a leader among banks exploring blockchain-based payment solutions, launching several products related to cryptocurrencies including Onyx (a platform for institutional customers) and Liink (a platform that connects banks worldwide). JP Morgan also offers traditional banking services such as checking accounts, savings accounts, credit cards etc., but these are not directly linked with any form of cryptocurrency or other digital currency applications at this time 3 .
