What is Anti-Crypto?
Anti-crypto refers to a type of sentiment or attitude held by individuals, organizations, or governments that are opposed to the increasing use and acceptance of cryptocurrencies. This opposition can manifest itself in different ways such as bans on cryptocurrency usage within certain countries, negative public statements from government officials about the asset class, or simply general mistrust for digital currencies due to their decentralization and lack of regulation. In some cases this opposition has resulted in legislation being introduced which makes it illegal for citizens within those countries to purchase and own cryptocurrencies.
