Alexander Osipovich (b. October 9, 1985) is a Russian-American entrepreneur and cryptocurrency expert who has been actively involved in the blockchain technology space since 2015. He is known for his role as the chief executive officer of BitXatm, a company focused on developing Bitcoin ATMs around the world.
Osipovich was born in Russia but moved to California at an early age with his family and began studying computer science at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo from 2003-2007. During this time he developed a keen interest in cryptography, particularly its potential applications within finance and banking systems which would eventually lead him into the blockchain industry after graduation when he was accepted onto Y Combinator’s startup incubator program alongside other notable entrepreneurs such as Paul Graham and Steve Huffman (co-founders of Reddit).
In 2014 Osipovich co-founded BitXatm along with two other partners, Alan Stepanovskiy & Dennis Shtakser. The company focuses on developing ATM machines that allow users to purchase or sell cryptocurrencies quickly and easily without having to go through traditional banks or exchanges – thus providing more flexibility for those looking to buy/sell digital assets instantly while also allowing them access their funds offline via physical cash withdrawals / deposits like conventional ATMs do today.
Since then Alexander has become one of the most influential figures within crypto circles; speaking regularly at conferences such as Token Summit NYC 2017 & 2018 where he discussed topics including Bitcoin regulation, security tokens issuance platforms & decentralized exchanges infrastructure development among others things related directly or indirectly related to blockchain technologies adoption rates globally. Outside of crypto Alexander is an active investor both personally & professionally; having invested in over 50 startups worldwide ranging from healthcare tech companies all the way up through enterprise software solutions providers making sure they are well positioned capital wise before going public if need be!
