On April 5, Ralph Lauren announced that their new store in Miami will accept payment in cryptocurrencies. Bitpay explained that customers can pay with BTC (Bitcoin), ETH (Ethereum), MATIC, and twelve other types of crypto coins. This means that now people will be able to use digital currencies when shopping at the Ralph Lauren Miami Design District location.
Ralph Lauren’s store in the Miami Design District has something totally new – customers can pay with cryptocurrency! It’s a first for Ralph Lauren and a great way to shop their amazing clothes. All you have to do is use your crypto wallet when making purchases.
Ralph Lauren has announced they are now accepting payments in crypto and also providing an activation experience that uses NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens). Their store in Miami will be the main center for people to do these activities.
David Lauren, the person in charge of the luxury brand’s ideas said that his company chose to allow people to use crypto-currency instead of regular money at their store in Miami. He added that this was because Miami has lots of startups, brands, and rich people living there. David also suggested that they maybe open stores like these in Europe, North America and Asia.
