Giovanni Russo FTX’s European branch has made a new website, ftxeurope.eu, for people to get their money out of the old cryptocurrency platform. When you ask for your money back, you will have to do it through this new website and they will check to make sure that you are really who you say you are.
FTX EU Lets Customers Withdraw Funds
FTX’s European division, FTX EU, announced on Friday that they are now allowing customers to withdraw their money. This subsidiary was established in March 2022 and is making sure that all of the cryptocurrency trading taking place is safe and secure by following rules given by regulators. Sam Bankman-Fried, the then head of the firm, made a statement at the time of establishment saying this will be the case.
FTX EU is now allowing customers to withdraw their money. This decision has been possible because of FTX Japan’s announcement to let people take out money in February 2023. The company will provide customers with a paper that includes the amount of money they are allowed to take away according to the laws of Cyprus. It all came after FTX EU couldn’t operate due to being stopped by Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission.
Only people who registered a FTX EU account after March 2022 can get their money out, but some companies aren’t allowed. Before you’re able to do that, you also need to prove your identity and show that you’re not doing anything wrong with the money. Additionally, if you don’t provide enough proof of who you are and what the money’s for, then it will take longer to process. FTX has sent emails telling everybody how to take their money out.
FTX EU LTD is allowing customers to take out their money (in paper money) and it must be kept in customers’ special accounts. People have to reset their passwords and create new ones so that they can see the withdrawal page on FTX’s website. What’s more, the business is approved and protected by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission.
