Nick Gerli is a cryptocurrency entrepreneur and investor based in Switzerland. He has been active in the crypto space since 2017, investing in a variety of projects from early-stage startups to established exchanges.
Gerli began his career as an angel investor for various blockchain projects, including Ethereum and Zcash. His portfolio also includes investments in several leading crypto companies such as Coinbase, Binance, and Bitstamp. He has also provided venture capital funding for a number of promising blockchain platforms such as Polkadot and Aave.
In addition to his investments, Gerli is involved with multiple philanthropic initiatives related to blockchain technology. In 2018 he founded the Blockchain Charity Association (BCA), which works to increase awareness about the potential of blockchain technology for social good by providing resources to those working on humanitarian causes using distributed ledger technologies like smart contracts or cryptocurrencies.

As CVA’s President he promotes economic opportunities related to digital asset regulation through collaboration among government institutions, industry leaders, academics, investors & innovators across Europe & Asia Pacific regions resulting in real-world applications that shape our understanding of how modern finance works today & tomorrow . Recently Nick was one of 4 panelists at GDF’s “Global Regulatory Convergence” event discussing global best practices for regulating virtual assets markets.’
