Danielle Sassoon is a noted entrepreneur and investor in the cryptocurrency industry. She has been involved with various projects, including Ripple Labs, BitGo, Coinbase Ventures, and others. Additionally she serves as an advisor to several crypto-related startups.
Sassoon holds degrees from Harvard University (BA), Columbia Business School (MBA) and Stanford Law School (LLM). Her career began at Goldman Sachs where she was part of their Investment Banking Division before transitioning into venture capital investing for firms such as Greylock Partners.
In 2013 Sassoon made her foray into the world of cryptocurrencies when she joined Blockchain Capital as a founding partner alongside Bart Stephens & Brock Pierce where they were early investors in Ethereum Classic and other blockchain related companies such as Blockstream & 21 Inc. Since then Danielle has become one of the most respected voices in digital asset investments having served on numerous boards across both public & private companies alike within this space while also participating regularly at high levels events throughout Europe & North America discussing topics that range from regulation to development trends amongst many others things associated with crytocurrencies or ‘digital assets’.
