Victor Mapunga is an entrepreneur and cryptocurrency expert from Zimbabwe. He has been actively involved in the world of cryptocurrency since 2014, when he began researching blockchain technology and its potential impact on Africa’s financial sector. He was inspired to pursue this field after seeing how cryptocurrencies could provide a viable alternative to traditional banking services for people living in underbanked communities around the world.
In 2018, Victor co-founded a firm called BitMari which focuses on providing blockchain-based solutions for farmers and other small businesses throughout Zimbabwe. This company was one of the first to introduce Bitcoin trading into the country, enabling local residents access to international markets with ease. In 2019, Victor also became involved with several major crypto projects such as ZimboCoin and Dash Zimbabwe, which are both focused on increasing crypto adoption across his home nation by providing educational materials about digital currencies as well as tools that make it easier for customers to pay using their preferred currency type – including BTC or ETH tokens.
