What is Unconfirmed?
Unconfirmed refers to a transaction status on the blockchain network. When a user sends cryptocurrency or other digital asset, the transaction must be verified by miners and added to the public ledger of transactions known as the blockchain. Until this process is complete, the transaction will remain in an unconfirmed state. This means that it has not yet been included in any block and therefore is not considered secure or valid until it has been confirmed by at least one miner. In most cases, after a certain number of blocks have been added to the chain without including your transaction, it will eventually expire from all nodes on the network and you will need to re-submit your transfer request if you want it processed again.
