Supoj Wancharoen (born June 8, 1983) is a Thai entrepreneur and cryptocurrency advocate. He is the founder of Bitcoin Co. Ltd., one of Thailand’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, and CEO of Satang Corporation, which specializes in developing blockchain technology for financial services companies.
Wancharoen has been involved in the crypto world since 2012 when he founded Bitcoin Co. Ltd., Thailand’s first exchange for trading digital assets such as bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple etc. Since then he has become an outspoken voice on topics dealing with cryptocurrencies both domestically and internationally. His mission is to bring more people into the crypto space by educating them about its potential benefits while also helping to raise awareness about the legal risks associated with it as well as how to identify scams or frauds within this industry. Additionally, Supoj was instrumental in getting crypto-based businesses regulated in Thailand which enabled them to operate legally within the country’s borders
Outside his business dealings related to cryptocurrencies Supoj also actively supports various charities around Bangkok through regular donations and volunteer work at local orphanages and animal shelters along with other activities that help improve quality of life for those less fortunate than himself
