Scripting Programming Language
A scripting programming language is a type of computer language used to write scripts which are sets of instructions that can be automatically executed by an application or operating system. Scripts are often written in plain text, but may also include components from other languages such as HTML and C++. They range from simple task automation commands to complex programs capable of running entire applications.
Common scripting languages include JavaScript, Python, PHP, VBScript, PowerShell, Perl and Ruby. Each language has its own unique features and syntax which make it suitable for different types of tasks. Additionally some scripting languages are designed specifically for writing cryptocurrency applications such as Solidity (Ethereum) or Simplicity (Zcash).

To avoid these problems developers should take steps such as validating user input before executing any code and implementing measures like rate limiting on functions that can be called frequently by malicious actors.
