Ryan Berckmans is a blockchain and cryptocurrency entrepreneur who has been active in the industry since 2015. He is the founder of Pynk, an AI-powered social investing platform that seeks to make investing smarter and more accessible for everyone. Previously, he founded HashCash Consultants, a global payment technology company specializing in providing enterprise grade distributed ledger technology solutions for banks, corporations and governments.
Berckmans has spoken at numerous conferences around the world including Consensus 2018 (New York City), BlockShow Asia 2018 (Singapore) and Token2049 2019 (Hong Kong). He was also invited as a keynote speaker at the Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Prague 2019 where he discussed how cryptocurrencies can be used to create borderless economies.
He holds an MBA from INSEAD Business School with specialization in Finance & Entrepreneurship as well as a Bachelor’s degree from University College London in International Relations & Economics. In 2021, he was selected by The Silicon Review Magazine’s “50 Leading Fintech Disruptors” list alongside other notable individuals such as Jack Dorsey (CEO of Twitter) and Bill Gates (co-founder of Microsoft).
