Opera Mainnet (Fantom) is a blockchain developed by the Fantom Foundation, an open source foundation focused on building DAG-based smart contract platforms. It is designed to enable low cost, high speed transactions and decentralized applications with support for multiple programming languages. The main features of the platform include:
• Scalability: Opera utilizes a unique consensus algorithm based on Proof of Stake (PoS), which allows it to process more than 10k transactions per second in its current state.
