Michael Wilkerson is an American entrepreneur and cryptocurrency expert. He is the founder, CEO, and Chairman of Blockvest LLC, a company specializing in blockchain-based investments. Wilkerson has been active in the cryptosphere since 2013 when he became involved with Bitcoin mining operations.
Wilkerson has also served as a consultant to numerous projects such as Ethereum Classic, EOSIO, and CoinMiningPool. He is credited with helping to launch several successful Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs), such as INS Ecosystems’ ICO which raised $41 million in 2017. Wilkerson was also instrumental in launching another successful ICO for the cryptocurrency project KODAKCoin which raised over $50 million during its presale phase alone.
In addition to his involvement within the cryptocurrency space, Wilkerson has also made significant contributions to other industries through his venture capital firm Blockvest Ventures LLC that focuses on investing in early stage technology companies throughout Africa and Asia Pacific regions with an emphasis on fintech startups leveraging blockchain technologies for their solutions and services provided.
