Manuel Cidre is a cryptocurrency entrepreneur and investor. He was born in Spain, but currently resides in Switzerland. He has been involved with cryptocurrencies since the early days of Bitcoin, when he founded a company to facilitate transactions between users.
Cidre is an advocate for the use of blockchain technology as an alternative to traditional banking systems and financial services. He believes that it offers greater transparency and security than other methods, while also providing cost savings due to its distributed nature. His views have made him one of the leading voices in cryptocurrency circles today.
In addition to his involvement with cryptocurrencies, Cidre is also a venture capitalist who invests in various startups related to blockchain technology and digital currencies. As part of this effort he launched MCT Capital AG, which provides investors access to projects backed by notable entrepreneurial teams from around the world. He has also been involved with several ICOs (Initial Coin Offerings) as well as token sales for promising projects like Golem Network or Zcash among others .
In 2017 Cidre co-founded Alethena AG, where he serves as Chairman on their board overseeing operations such as audit reviews and asset management strategies focused on Blockchain companies & ICOs from Europe & Asia Markets .
In 2018 Manuel joined forces with Swiss Crypto Valley Association (CVVA) aiming at creating awareness about new technologies applied on finance such us Initial Token Offerings -ITOs-, Security Token Offerings -STOs- , Airdrops/Bounties etc.. This same year he became Ambassodor for CVVA’s program “CryptoMentors” that seeks experienced professionals willing pass knowledge & experience regarding DLT/Blockchain applications within financial industry .
Currently Manuel continues focusing his efforts into supporting ventures through mentorship programs leveraging his broad network connections worldwide helping startups become successful businesses disrupting current industries adopting distributed ledger technologies .
