Dennis Porter is an American entrepreneur, investor and cryptocurrency researcher. He has been involved in the blockchain community since 2010 and is a recognized expert on digital assets including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and other cryptocurrencies.
In addition to his involvement with the cryptocurrency world, Dennis was previously a technology executive for several Fortune 500 companies where he held various management positions in business development as well as product strategy. It was during this time that he developed an interest in emerging technologies such as blockchain-based solutions which ultimately led him to become one of its leading advocates today.
Since then Dennis has gone on to found Block X Ventures – a venture capital firm focused solely on investing in blockchain-related projects – and serves on the board of directors at two different crypto startups: DecentraNet Technologies Inc., which focuses on developing decentralized applications; and VIVO Crypto Solutions Ltd., which provides services related to private key storage solutions for institutional investors looking into entering the market space or expanding their existing portfolio allocations across multiple asset classes.
He regularly speaks at industry events around the world sharing his insight into how cryptocurrencies work while also educating people about ways they can safely invest without taking too much risk due to lack of knowledge or understanding of these new markets. On top of all that he’s even written three books about bitcoin trading strategies aimed towards novices who are just getting started with digital currencies!
