Censorship resistance is a term used to describe the ability of a cryptocurrency or blockchain-based system to remain operational in the face of attempts by governments, corporations, or other entities to control and/or restrict its use. Censorship resistant systems are designed to allow users freedom from interference and censorship while conducting transactions over the network.

One of the main benefits of using cryptocurrency is that it offers censorship resistance due to its decentralized nature.
