Atlantic Council
The Atlantic Council is a nonpartisan think tank established in 1961 to promote constructive leadership and engagement on global issues. The organization’s mission is “to shape the agenda of world affairs through informed policy analysis, dialogue, outreach, and advocacy.” It works with governments, international organizations, civil society groups and businesses around the world to build trust across borders and develop solutions that advance global security and prosperity.
The Atlantic Council focuses on six core areas: Eurasia; Middle East & North Africa; Global Business & Economics; Technology & Innovation; Transatlantic Relationships & Democracy Promotion; Strategic Foresight & Security Studies. By bringing together stakeholders from many different countries for discussions about timely topics such as digital economy or energy security it seeks to help create an environment where long-term solutions can be worked out collaboratively among all involved parties regardless of their geographic location or political affiliation.
The Atlantic Council also has several research centers including Cyber Statecraft Initiative (CSI), Digital Forensic Research Lab (DFRLab) , Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center (ALAC), Dinu Patriciu Eurasia Center (DPEC) , South Asia Centre (SAC). These research centers specialize in providing deep insights into regional geopolitical trends by conducting fieldwork investigations into current developments related to cyber warfare, disinformation campaigns or financial crimes occurring within these regions while also developing strategies aimed at preventing further escalation of conflicts between states which could destabilize entire nations if left unchecked over time.
Furthermore they have organized multiple events throughout the year such as ‘Energy Insecurity Dialogue Series’ geared towards discussing potential steps needed for ensuring secure access to energy resources globally by introducing new technologies like blockchain applications for supply chain management or artificial intelligence powered predictive analytics systems used for forecasting demand fluctuations accurately ahead of time so adequate reserves are always available whenever required without any disruption due unexpected shortages caused by unforeseen circumstances outside anyone’s control .
