Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a branch of computer science that deals with creating intelligent machines capable of performing tasks normally requiring human intelligence. AI is an area of research that has been gaining significant attention due to its potential applications in many areas, including finance and economics, healthcare, education, transportation, security and defense. AI involves the use of algorithms to create programs that can “learn” from data and make decisions on their own.
The most common type of AI used today is known as machine learning (ML). Machine learning algorithms analyze large amounts of data in order to identify patterns or correlations between different inputs and outputs. These patterns are then used to make predictions about new data points or find solutions for problems. ML can be applied in various fields such as natural language processing (NLP), image recognition, robotics and autonomous vehicles.
In the cryptocurrency world, AI technology is being leveraged by companies such as Coinbase to facilitate trading activities and improve user experience through automated bots which help users identify profitable opportunities faster than manual analysis would allow them too.
