In terms of cryptocurrency, Adam Posen is best known as one of the most influential economists behind Bitcoin’s rise to prominence over recent years. He frequently speaks on crypto-related topics and his research into blockchain technology has helped shape public discourse around digital currencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. Additionally, he often makes appearances on television networks such CNBC or Bloomberg TV discussing macroeconomic trends in relation to cryptocurrencies worldwide.
He also recently published his opinion editorial piece “The Crypto Revolution: A New Paradigm For Money And Payments?” which offers insights about how cryptocurrencies are changing money systems across countries all over world by creating more efficient payment solutions than traditional banking methods can provide nowdays [1]. In it he argues that governments should consider implementing broader regulations so that people feel secure investing their money into these new markets without fear of being scammed or having their funds stolen due to lack oversight from authorities [2].
