Ray Youssef Warns Users, Paxful Back Up and Running in Weeks!
Ray Youssef, the former CEO of Paxful, reminded users of the online platform on May 9th that he had already left the company a few weeks ago and should not be trusted for any decisions made by the new Paxful team. He also stated that he will provide updates soon regarding a setup that will return users’ frozen funds to them.
Youssef recently said some things on social media about having a disagreement with someone he founded Paxful with. Reports say that it only took a few weeks for the peer-to-peer marketplace to be back up and running again.
Paxful Closing
In April, CryptokenTop News reported that Paxful had to close down. Reasons behind the closure included certain staff leaving, some official challenges and an argument between Youssef and Artur Schaback – who were both co-founders of Paxful.
Paxful, an online marketplace, thanked its users recently in a tweet for their patience when it was not working properly. They also mentioned that they were dealing with some issues and trying to fix them. The tweet also said that some of their user’s accounts has been accidentally blocked, and the team is attempting to resolve this issue.
Youssef told people who claimed they were scammed using the platform that he couldn’t help them and had to leave. When asked why, Youssef said there was a “wild story”. Do you have any thoughts on this story? Let us know in the comments section below!
